Southern Company Gas

Bob Schnorr was named vice president, Supply Chain and Fleet, for Southern Company Gas (formerly AGL Resources) in December 2011. He is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of the overall supply chain and fleet strategy, including corporate-wide procurement and sourcing operations, inventory and material management, as well as the corporate supplier diversity program.

Schnorr joined Southern Company Gas in 2002 and brings more than 25 years of utility-related procurement and operational experience to his role. Previously, he served as managing director of Supply Chain and director of Strategic Supply Chain Projects for Southern Company Gas, and as director of Transactional Services and director of Contract Development for AGL Networks.

Schnorr is a member and past chairman of the Southern Gas Association Supply Chain Committee, the National Contract Management Association and Institute for Supply Management. He is a volunteer with the American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity and the American Red Cross.

He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Colorado and conducted continuing education at George Washington University and the University of Phoenix.
