Mark Rueff was named vice president, Asset Management, in June 2012. He leads all aspects of Sequent Energy Managementâ€™s affiliated and third-party asset management activities and is responsible for optimizing the related natural gas storage and firm transportation portfolios. Sequent is a top-10 marketer of natural gas in the country and a subsidiary of AGL Resources (NYSE: GAS).
Rueff brings nearly 20 years of experience in the natural gas industry to his role. Previously, he served as vice president, Origination, leading the wholesale origination and the commercial and industrial business platforms within Nicor Enerchange, LLC.
Earlier in his career, Rueff held various marketing and business development roles with Nicor Gas and Nicor Enerchange. Prior to joining Nicor Gas, he worked in various roles at Arthur Andersen.
Rueff earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from Northern Illinois University and his master's degree in business administration from Aurora University.
Mr. Rueff earned his undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University and his master's degree in business administration from Aurora University.
He lives with his wife and three children in Katy, Texas.
