Vice President, Talent Management and Labor Relations

Becky Meggesin was named vice president, Talent Management and Labor Relations for AGL Resources (NYSE: GAS) in January 2013. In this role, her responsibilities include training, professional development, organizational effectiveness, staffing and labor relations.
Prior to this appointment, Ms. Meggesin was vice president, Training and Organizational Effectiveness, overseeing the development and delivery of corporate training and organizational development programs. She also served as vice president, Human Resources for Nicor Gas. During her nearly 30 years with Nicor Gas, she served in a variety of roles across the business, including accounting, credit, meter reading and human resources. Additionally she served as a loaned executive to the Chicago United Way.
Ms. Meggesin serves on the board of advisors at the Northern Illinois University College of Business Belief Program and serves on the Board of Directors for the Community Career Center in Naperville, Illinois. Additionally, she is an active member of Mentor for Menttium, a national women's mentoring association, and the Northern Illinois University College of Business student mentoring program.
She earned her undergraduate degree from Illinois State University and is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources.
Ms. Meggesin lives with her husband in St. Charles, Ill.
