Vice President, Customer Experience
As vice president of Customer Experience, Connie McIntyre is responsible for enhancing and sustaining the customer experience for 4.5 million customers in the seven states served by AGL Resources (NYSE:GAS) utilities: Atlanta Gas Light, Chattanooga Gas, Elizabethtown Gas, Elkton Gas, Florida City Gas, Nicor Gas and Virginia Natural Gas. She is responsible for customer care center operations, billing, payment, credit functions and supporting customer initiatives.
McIntyre began her tenure with AGL Resources in 1977 and has held various leadership positions. She served as director of the company's customer care center and held several management positions in information systems and process improvements. She led business teams in implementing several large computer systems. She also served as a regional manager overseeing field operations in one of the largest regions in the Atlanta Gas Light service territory and led the AGL Resources marketer services team through the deregulation of the Georgia natural gas market in 1998.
McIntyre also has played a key role in the centralization of AGL Resources' customer care operations, creating operational efficiencies and improving customer service. Her experience and insight in customer care, IT, marketing, and field operations have optimized the overall customer experience.
McIntyre currently serves as chair of the Southern Gas Association Customer Experience committee and is active with the American Gas Association Customer Service Committee. She is very active in other community and civic organizations in the Atlanta metro area.
A Georgia native, McIntyre graduated from Georgia College with a bachelor's degree in business administration and holds a master of business administration from Brenau University. She is a graduate of Leadership North Fulton and a certified customer service professional.
McIntyre lives in the Atlanta area.
