Dan Lambright was named vice president of information technology in November 2008. He is responsible for vision-setting, technology architecture and system support. Mr. Lambright has been instrumental in the modernization of customer service information systems and dispatch systems. He also handles program development and application maintenance and support.

Mr. Lambright joined AGL Resources in 1999, serving in various technology leadership positions, each with increasing responsibility. Most recently, he has served as managing director, information services, when he led the implementation of critical technology projects such as Customer Management Application, Mobility, Marketer Interface Application, Customer Self-Service Portal and more.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Lambright spent 16 years in software development and management with Pratt Whitney Aircraft. Mr. Lambright has been active in software development since 1983.

Mr. Lambright is very involved in the Atlanta community. He has supported the annual Technology Habitat for Humanity build for the past six years, served as an officer of the Pope High School Band Parents Association for the past three years and served as treasurer for his home owners association for the past year.

He earned his bachelor's degree in computer and information sciences from University of Florida in 1983. He also earned a master's degree in technical management in 1998 from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Mr. Lambright and his family reside in Marietta, Ga.
